Town Museum and Gallery
The Dačice Town Museum and Gallery was founded in 1893 and it is situated in the left wing of the national chateau at the present time. It offers not only permanent exhibitions, but also many short-term exhibitions of a graphic and museum persuasion. Expositions: A selection of Max Švabinský's graphic work, Czech visual arts in the 19th and 20th century (M. Aleš, V. Hynais, V. Komárek and others), The Creative Arts Hall of the regional painters F. Bílkovský, M. Florian, History, ethnography and prominent personalities of Dačice. Collections also include coins and medals, graphic expressions of the town, pottery, painted furniture, highlander's costumes, wedding buntings and all the information you could ever need about the first cube of sugar in the world. The chateau chapel of the Ascension of the Virgin Mary is also part of the tour.

The Air Museum of Vilém Göth had been created thanks to the enthusiasm and deep interest of Mr. Kolomazník in history of aviation in the area of Dačice. In new-built exposition visitors can see through single parts of planes, uniforms, air models and apparature. The abundant photographic gallery is attend to flyers from Dačice and close neighbourhood. You can find some photos from exhibited exposition in the photogallery enclosed.
